A Community Newspaper: El Placazo Community Newspaper is a community-operated newspaper designed as an educational tool for participants interested in developing skills in all aspects of newspaper production. The newspaper serves as a unique outlet for our participants to express themselves and to document their culture. Teen Mentorship Program: With a Writing focused base, Teens involved with El Placazo will be learning ways to express themselves into a variety of mediums from local Professionals. From Traditional Press to Digital Media, the students of the Teen Mentorship program will have well rounded knowledge to provide any vehicle for their writings.
